“World Spirit Youth Council” (WSYC) European-Hub, Switzerland The spiritual movement for young people from Europe
Center of Unity - Schweibenalp, Brienz, Switzerland, 1. - 8. August 2010
Summer Gathering - Schweibenalp 2009
Vision
Worldwide, people from all cultures and religions
stand up and create a power, which makes this
world more peaceful, fair-minded and more honest.
We, as the young generation, want to share this
power: "Be the change now!"
We want to live in a community for 8 days, where
we will explore new perspectives, discuss, create,
laugh and sing. All of this program is held in an
area surrounded by the beautiful Swiss mountains,
which will give us peace, power and inspiration.
Program
There will be many different activities such as discussion
rounds, workshops, lectures, group-meditations
and the possibility to exchange our individual
ideas and talents. These activities help us to
realize our vision.
In the evenings we will have bonfires, hikes, sauna,
dance, singing and many exciting activities.
The communication will be in English. Translation is
available into German, if needed.
Costs
CHF 390.- (286 € ; 390 $ ; 244 £) per person
Included in the price are 3 Meals/day, 7 days of accommodation
in your own tent and the workshops.
(It is possible to have a reduction of the price for participators from
lower-income countries. Please contact us.)
We WSYC is a worldwide movement, which has made its
mission to create a space in which young people are
able to discover, express and experience their spirituality.
This idea was created by the U.N. accredited organization
“Children of the Earth”, and has attracted young
people from all over the world. We, the European group,
are a growing community that meets regularly, lives
their vision, and organizes events like this one.
We are looking forward to your attendance!

word of the day: Sometimes it is not easy hearing an
idea that is different from the one
you are advancing - yet it might be
that second idea for which you were
actually reaching for. Answers arrive
in more ways than one. Sometimes
they come through us, and some-
times they come to us.
